Why do we have two separate seasons?

In 1997 Dance Team was officially sanctioned by the MN State High School League. However, our participation in fall school activities such as pep-fests and football game performances have always been an important part of the dance team experience. As a result, fall dance remained as a school activity with a completely separate coaching staff to allow for school/community performances and additional training opportunities.
