Dance Camps
Join Coach Karla for week-long summer camps. Karla coached Hopkins' Fall Dance Team for 5 years in addition to a 25+ year career coaching other dance teams and teaching competitive dance. You will learn skills that will propel you to the next level and prepare you to tryout for the Hopkins Dance Team in Middle School/High School. Get started on your dance journey today! Scholarships are available through Camp Royal.
2024 Dance Camps
Are you hoping to represent Hopkins on the dance team someday? We will learn skills and dances in the 3 dance team styles performed at Hopkins, Jazz, Kick and Hip Hop. You’ll work with Coach Karla, a 6-year Hopkins fall dance team coach, to learn what you’ll need to succeed as a Hopkins Dance Team member.

Are you in your Taylor Swift era? We will celebrate all of our favorite eras and learn hip hop technique and choreography. Solve puzzles like a mastermind, learn to bejewel, make friendship bracelets and shake it off in style. All your wildest dreams will come true during this enchanting week!

Broadway is calling! We will learn about the amazing world of Broadway musicals and hone our jazz, tap, and performance skills to prepare us for our future as musical theater stars. We will learn jazz and tap technique, skills, and choreography and prepare our very own musical theater performance. Wear form-fitting clothes, any style jazz and tap shoes, and put long hair up in a secure ponytail, braid, or bun. All levels are welcome.
